“Patty Porter of Tulsa, Oklahoma takes acrylic to a high level in her abstract expression seen in ‘Purple Passion’. This figure/ground organization works well for this concept. And, the textural treatment in the center adds energy to evoke passion.”
“Tsunami, the powerful painting by Patty Porter is a fine example of imagery and movement which she brings to all her work. Abstracts should excite the viewer, invite you back to find something new each time you look. That’s what Patty accomplishes; her work is bold and enlightened.”
